Four Under Four

I have been sick for what feels like forever. I had that terrible virus that was going around town. I got it not only once but twice. I didn’t even know it was possible to give a virus to your family and get it back again. It was terrible. I seem to be fully recovered from my horrendous illness, and with the wedding done, things are a lot calmer. But that leaves me with good old fashioned morning sickness. That’s right! We’re pregnant!

And I say “we” because Yev is just as much in this as I am. He has had to take on a ton of my responsibilities, as I am not functioning like I usually do. Luckily I’m not quite as nauseous as I usually am. My previous two pregnancies were absolutely terrible. So so sick. This time, as long as I eat all day, I’m usually ok. But boy am I ready for this part to be over! My sickness usually lasts until half way through my pregnancy. Whoever said it was a first trimester thing was crazy. And it’s definitely not morning sickness. More like all day sickness.

Whenever I feel like complaining about this pregnancy, I just think about my other two, and I try to be thankful I’m not spending 90% of my time in the bathroom. And it’s nice to be home in comfy clothes instead of at work. The perks of being a stay-at-home mom 🙌.

As much as we are excited, this was also a complete surprise, despite our best contraceptive efforts. As we enter the Four Under Four club, we will take all of your prayers and well wishes. We’re going to need them. Can’t wait to keep you all updated on our journey 😘.
